Language trends on the web
On the web, there is always a big force of change, old languages fading away (cold fusion and classic asp ) and relatively new languages that are trying to make a name for themselves and those that have stood the test of time.
There are languages trying to make their mark on the web world: ruby/rails and python among the few, and those that have been around and are widely used: asp.net/c# , java and php. As a programmer who works for a web company, it's always exciting seeing what people create and how technology advances and new languages are created and used on the web.
I wonder where we will be in 3,4 or 5 years.....
